ORANGE PEEL SILK
is a perfect combination of fashion and sustainability. It is made from orange peels, a by-product of the citrus industry. The material is derived from natural sources, and its production process involves extracting cellulose from the citrus peels, which is then spun into a silky, soft fiber. Orange fabric is wonderfully soft, strong, and biodegradable, meaning it can naturally decompose at the end of its life cycle. The process of making the orange fabric was developed in Italy.
BANANA FABRIC is made from the long, outer fibers of banana plant stems, which are usually discarded after the bananas are harvested. The fast-growing nature of banana plants does not require the use of pesticides or fertilizers, which positions banana fabric as a sustainable alternative to conventional textiles. Fabric is biodegradable and can naturally decompose at the end of its useful life, reducing its environmental impact. Banana fabric has a unique texture that is both strong and flexible. It has a slightly coarse feel, similar to linen. This eco-friendly fabric has been used for centuries in various regions, particularly in countries with a history of banana cultivation.
